2. Overview
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it only in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German law. This policy explains what data we process when you visit this website and use its forms.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, California, USA (“Netlify”). When you access the site, Netlify automatically collects and stores server log data (for example your IP address, browser type and version, the referring page, and the time of the request) that your browser transmits, in order to operate the site securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and stable presentation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Netlify processes this data on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. As Netlify is based in the USA, data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. This transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Cookies
This website does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. No cookies are set that require your consent.
5. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection to Google servers or any other third party is established when the fonts are loaded, and your IP address is not transmitted to any external font provider.
6. Whitepaper request form
When you request our whitepaper, we process the information you enter into the form: first and last name, company, company type, country, role or job title, business email address, and, optionally, your telephone number, together with the consent you give.
Purpose: to deliver the requested whitepaper and, where you have consented, to contact you about CargoScore and related updates, including by email and telephone.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future; and, in order to provide the document you requested and to communicate with you in a business context, Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
Processing: form submissions are collected and stored via Netlify Forms (see “Hosting” above). We do not pass your data on to any third party beyond this processor.
Retention: we store the data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or until you withdraw your consent or object. Thereafter we delete it, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
7. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about your stored data (Art. 15), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
